Aktia strengthens its asset management with new portfolio managers
The portfolio management at Aktia will strengthen further, as Juuso Kenkkilä (M.Sc.[econ]) starts as portfolio manager for the Europe funds on 15 November. Kenkkilä has more than 15 years' experience in the equity market as portfolio manager, strategist and investment manager. He has previously worked, for example, in Finlandia Group, Ålandsbanken and Handelsbanken.
On 22 November, Patrik Moring, (M.Soc.Sc) will start as asset allocation portfolio manager in the Solutions team. Morning has more than 20 years of experience in the financial market and the asset management in the OP Group, where he has worked as a strategist and a portfolio manager. Moring will become a member of the Investment Committee and participates, among other things, in the preparation of Aktia's investment strategies.
Mikko Aalto (MBA) will start as Equity Advisor on 13 December. Aalto will move to Aktia from the Markets function at OP, where he has worked as Senior Sales Manager in charge of ETF. In Aktia, Aalto will focus on advice related to the strategic shareholding of wealth management customers and build model portfolios and give share recommendations.
In October, Aarni Pursiainen (DScEcon) started as the portfolio manager of Aktia’s impact fund, Impact.
