Aktia Savings Bank plc has been informed that through a sale of shares executed
today 30 September 2005, FöreningsSparbanken AB (publ), organization number
502017-7753 (Sweden), has reduced its shareholding in Aktia Savings Bank plc to
under 1/20 of Aktia Savings Bank's shares, therefore now holding 1.1% of the
total number of shares and voting rights.
