Aktia raises its prime rate to 4,50 per cent as of 6 September 2007

Aktia Savings Bank plc raises its prime rate by 0.25 percentage
points to 4,50 per cent due to increase in overall market rates, a
stable economic development in Europe, and the fact that inflation
expectations still exceed ECB's target. The new rate will apply from
6 September 2007.
