Aktia's new segment structure and comparison figures

Aktia will be reporting according to the following three business segments: Banking Business, Asset Management and Group Functions. Aktia is reporting according to the new business segments as of January 1, 2019.

In a stock exchange release on November 23, 2018, Aktia announced an organisational change as a result of Aktia’s intensified implementation of the strategy reform of 2017. The segment structure is now adjusted to correspond to the organisational change.

Aktia's new business segments

The new segment Banking Business comprises the previous segment Personal & Corporate Banking as well as Aktia’s private banking business and the banking business of institutional customers, which previously were included in the Wealth Management segment.

The new segment Asset Management comprises the previous segment Wealth Management, excluding the private banking business and the banking business of institutional customers, which from now on are included in the new Banking Business segment.

The support and staff functions, including the group’s treasury business, will still form part of the Group Functions segment.

Operations that are not reported in the business segments mentioned above are reported in Other business.

Aktia's comparison figures 2018 according to the new business segments have been enclosed to this stock exchange release. The change affects only the segment division and does not change Aktia Group’s reported results for 2018.
