Pursuant to Chapter 2, Section 10 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act we
inform that Aktiastiftelsen i Esbo-Grankulla's ownership of Aktia plc has
decreased to under 5.00% on 5 May 2011.

On 6 June 2011, Aktiastiftelsen i Esbo-Grankulla owns a total of 3,270,043
shares and 26,515,745 voting rights in Aktia plc. Thus Aktiastiftelsen i
Esbo-Grankulla now holds 4.88% of Aktia plc's stocks and 5.92% of voting
rights.
