Aktia Fund Management Ltd
Aktia Fund Management Ltd. administers and markets mutual funds — equity funds, mixed funds and interest funds — that invest in both the Finnish and international capital markets. The funds are sold through different channels of distribution, and are also sold directly to institutional customers. The goal is to maintain a selection of funds that is optimal for the customer.
The market value of Aktia Fund Management Ltd.’s over 50 funds totals to approximately EUR 2 billion. Aktia Fund Management Ltd., with its 125,000 unitholders, is Finland’s fourth largest fund manager. Included are the Robur funds, Hansa Investment Funds, Odin and ABN Amro Funds. Robur is the most successful and the largest fund management company in Sweden and it administrates nearly 80 different investment funds. Hansa Investment Funds is the leading and the oldest fund management company in the Baltic and it administrates approximately 50 % of the area's pension funds. The Norwegian Odin funds are well known for their high yields. The Dutch ABN Amro is one of the leading banks in the world and a specialist in developping economies.
Aktia’s funds have performed extremely well, having been repeatedly ranked by Morningstar financial analysts as the best for several years now. A clear indication of this is that Aktia's funds have received more than four of the five possible Morningstar stars, on average. Aktia has for some time been the best fund management company of those owned by banks with over 10 fund valuations.
