Corporate governance
Aktia Savings Bank plc is governed
in compliance with the Credit Institutions Act and the Act on
Commercial Banks and
Other Credit Institutions Organised as Limited Companies. The subsidiaries
are managed in accordance with applicable legislation, such as
the Mortgage Bank Act, the Mutual Funds Act and the Securities Companies
Act. The regulations on corporate
administration are also included in the bank’s articles of association
and the rules of procedure adopted by the Board of Supervisors
and Board of Directors that define the areas of responsibility
of the
individual administrative bodies in more detail.

pages provide further information on the Group’s
administrative bodies and affairs with reference to management,
independence and transparency in its operations (Corporate Governance).
This presentation
includes information that will be published as per the recommendation
regarding the administration and control systems of listed companies,
which has been issued by HEX Integrated Markets Ltd, the Central
Chamber of Commerce and the Confederation of Finnish Industry
and Employers
(TT).
Aktia Savings Bank plc has
announced its intention to list the company’s shares on the stock exchange and has undertaken
to follow the stock exchange’s rules on publication of information.
Consequently, the bank follows the recommendation on the administration
and control systems of listed companies regarding publication
of information.
